NPL2 side Ballarat Red Devils has secured the services of goalkeeper Alex Baird for the 2017 season.
Baird joins from St Albans Saints to become the Devils’ first signing of the off-season. Ballarat also confirmed that Aaron Romein would be departing to join another NPL club.
An integral part of Saints’ promotion quest this year, Baird joined the club earlier this year after time in Europe which included stints at Derby County and Newcastle United.
St Albans recently announced the signing of 2015 Goalkeeper of the Year Chris May as they look to make a strong return in the Victorian topflight.
Ballarat finished 6th this season in the NPL2 West.
