New Melbourne City marquee Tim Cahill looks set to take to the park for the first time for his new side when it takes on Brisbane Strikers at Perry Park on Wednesday night.
The Socceroo believes that he is ready to lead City through the Round of 16 FFA Cup fixture after spending over a week training with his new team mates.

“I will give myself every opportunity due to the fact I’ve completed all sessions, indoor and outdoor, and basically recovered really well,” Cahill said on RSN 927 on Tuesday.
Cahill is expected to line up against the one-time National Soccer League champion upon the FFA finalising his paperwork.
