Melbourne City has unveiled its 2016/17 Foxtel National Youth League squad which features former Northcote City marksmen, Breadyn Crowley, who was signed by the club’s A-League side after a prolific second half to his 2016 season.
Yaren Sozer, James Delianov, Bradley Clarke, Jordan Hall, Ali Eygun, Leo Athanasiou, Austin Wong, Luke Gallo and Gerrie Syladios have all spent time with John van’t Schip’s A-League squad over the pre-season and will prepare to take on the country’s best young talent this season.
Denis Genreau, Christian Cavallo and Braedyn Crowley have been selected as A-League scholarship players and will train with the first team squad during the 2016/17 season.
Joe Palatsides will lead the side as Head Coach for his fifth season in charge and will be assisted by Lachlan Armstrong.
The National Youth League season kicks off on Saturday 12 November, with City’s first match of the season will against Adelaide United at CB Smith Reserve, kick-off 5pm.
